We have sent an e-mail to all the families in order to invite the students to use TEAMS.

It is much faster and easier than using e-mail. You can send us your works, comments, any doubts, we can upload classroom materials… all using this platform.

You will also receive an invitation to join classrooms meetings, but we are still working on that.

As soon as possible we will plan a timetable to help you with your daily work for the next week. This will also help us to establish teacher’s meeting times in order to help you, to share opinions, to debate different topics…

RECOMENDACIONES PARA EL BUEN FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL «DISTANCE LEARNING».

Querid@s alumn@s,

Necesitamos de vuestra colaboración para que durante estos días todo pueda funcionar al máximo de bien. Os pedimos 2 requisitos básicos para el buen funcionamiento. PACIENCIA y SENTIDO COMÚN.

Sois un grupo que las nuevas tecnologías se os dan muy bien y tenéis una habilidad espectacular: sois grandes INDAGADORES.  

L@s profesor@s estamos trabajando para que los documentos estén al máximo de especificados y que no pueda haber confusión. Aun así, hemos tenido algunos problemas que hemos ido solucionando a lo largo del fin de semana para que TODO estuviera apunto para hoy, que es cuando empieza la SEMANA 1. Estamos revisando los links y actividades que os hemos puesto, comprobando que funcionen para que podáis organizaros para trabajar. Hemos intentado enviaros los documentos en Word, pero había algún problema que se modificaban, por ese motivo están en PDF. Podéis hacer una captura de pantalla y copiarlo en un documento Word que utilizaréis para mandárnoslo.  

  • Es muy importante que cuando hagáis una consulta o preguntéis una duda a un/a profesor/a, primero os aseguréis que NO está especificada en el documento que se os ha mandado. LEED DETENIDAMENTE EL DOCUMENTO.
  • TODOS los ejercicios que hicimos la semana pasada están subidos en el blog para que los alumnos que no vinisteis los podáis tener y podáis completarlas.
  • En el caso que no tengáis el cuaderno de Competencies Básiques de catalán, NO podemos facilitaros el libro on line. Podéis pedir a un /a compañero/a que os haga una foto y podéis responder en una hoja de papel o en una libreta que tengáis en casa. Este mismo consejo se aplica a TODAS las asignaturas.
  • Las fichas de las divisiones, os subiremos al blog una muestra con los resultados para que las podáis corregir. Si disteis la hoja el jueves pasado, se os corregirá y se os comentaran los errores. No es necesario que enviéis el documento escaneado.
  • Es MUY importante que cuando mandéis un correo a un profesor juntéis TODAS las preguntas que queráis hacerle. Es mejor mandar un correo con 5 dudas que 5 correos con una duda en cada uno.  

Somos 76 alumnos y si no nos organizamos se nos va a saturar el correo, no nos llegarán vuestros e-mails y por consiguiente no os podremos ayudar a solucionar vuestras dudas.

Para que os hagáis a la idea, esta mañana teníamos unos 60 -70 correos aproximadamente y muchas de las preguntas estaban especificadas en el documento del blog. Como os decimos siempre y ahora aun más: LEED BIEN LAS INSTRUCCIONES!! 😊

Os pedimos paciencia. Entendemos vuestras inquietudes, pero utilizad el correo con prudencia y sentido común. Solamente cuando sea necesario.

On Wednesday 11th December we are going to do a reflection on the Globetrotters unit.

Using the worksheets we did in class, and the videos below, you have to write a reflection based on the following:

  • 10 facts about The Modern Age: The Discovery of the Americas/ famous explorers.
  • 10 facts about the industrial revolution.

Remember that it has to be RELEVANT information.

Example: The Middle Ages ended with the discovery of the Americas in 1492.

Example: The industrial revolution brought many cultural changes, most people lived in the country and worked on farms. During the revolution, people moved to the cities to work in factories.

3D MODEL PRESENTATION

Dear students,

Next TUESDAY 5th NOVEMBER you have the 3D model presentation.

Remember that you have to explain your 3D model, pointing to the different stages of the fertilisation, showing the different words… but you CAN’T read all the information. You have to show us what you have learnt about the unit.

Tomorrow, we will give you some extra time to finish it. When you finish, you have to take a picture of your 3D model with your computer in order to prepare the presentation during this long weekend.
